CRUNCH GTX1500.1D – 1-channel GRAVITY MINI power amplifier with bass remote control
Crunch is known for always offering a large selection in its amplifier series. The Gravity series optimized for the smallest size is no exception here. With an extremely compact construction of just 135 mm width and 48 mm height, it starts with 10 models. But the real surprise is in the performance: From the ultra-compact heatsinks, Crunch gets enormous power up to 1500 watts of RMS! The Gravity models owe their impressive performance to the efficient Class D technology, which is used in all variants. Another highlight is the excellent value for money. Nothing was spared: In addition to high performance, the amplifiers offer a standard set of equipment – including remote control for bass level in all models. A special design element is the recessed acrylic frame on the top, the red CRUNCH logo and the white model designation come into their own in a stylish way in the 2-colour lighting – a real eye-catcher in any installation. In edition 3/2025 of the test magazine Car&Hifi, three of these amplifiers have been thoroughly tested. Initially, the GTX1600.4D and GTX2250.1D models were awarded Best PRODUCT in their respective categories, while the GTX1200.2D was honored with the coveted sound tip!
Crunch Gravity monoblocks – maximum power up to 1 ohm.
The extremely compact CRUNCH Gravity series monoblocks offer impressive performance with 1 ohm stability and are the ideal choice for subwoofer applications. In total, the series includes three models, which are distinguished by their enormous power. The most powerful model, the GTX3000.1D, delivers breathtaking performance with 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohm and delivers deep, powerful bass. All three GTX monoblocks offer all the important functions and are equipped with a practical bass level remote control to adjust the bass response as you wish. In addition to the low-level inputs, Crunch has also integrated intelligent high-level inputs with EPS protection circuit and automatic switching on in addition to the low-level inputs, so that it can easily be connected especially in modern vehicles. Thanks to new Infineon chipsets and modern Class-D technology, the Gravity Monoblocks achieve impressive efficiency of up to 91%. This means that the supplied energy is not converted into unnecessary heat, but into real performance, which is reflected in the high wattage. Compared to many other monoblocks, the gravity amplifiers amaze with very compact dimensions. With only 135 mm width and 48 mm height, the end steps are very slim, which also simplifies installation. Test result: best product: The test editorial of the Car&Hifi also showed enthusiasm about the performance and construction of the new Gravity mini amplifiers. In the 3/2025 edition, the GTX2250.1D made a sovereign impression. She received the grade 1+ and was awarded the best product in her class.
Other GTX models (2-channel, 6-channel and mono-blocks) are present in the series.
